A guided offroad tour going deep into the

Curacao forest on Electric STAND UP Quad Bikes

THE ST. MICHIEL AREA

This 2,5 hour guided tour brings you deep into Curacao’s forest and directly into the former plantation area of Landhouse ‘Wechi’, Landhouse ‘Groot Sint Michiel’, Landhouse ‘Malpais’.

The tour starts at the headquarters of E-Nature Tours in Julianadorp from where we head into the forest in the area of Landhouse Wechi. This area will take you back in time where enslaved Africans worked on the land. Experience the ‘Calabash Forest’, a magnificent ‘high point view’, the ‘Mango Hub’ and and a ‘Salt Lake’ full of wildlife. See crabs, sea birds and especially flamingo’s in their natural habitat and experience the different faces the flora and fauna of Curacao has. At every stop there will be enough time to take pictures and make video’s. Going forward we will reach the popular ‘Kokomo Beach’ for a brief stop to rest and relax. After this stop the tour continuous towards another ‘high point’ from where we follow a ‘rainwater path’ into one of the biggest natural rainwater collection area’s (dam) of the island called ‘Lago Disparse’. Get to know how the water of this dam was collected in the beginning of the 20th century and for what purpose. Towards the end of the tour you will have a moment of reflection in order to connect the past to the present and to the future.

Tours are offered from Monday to Saturday / 2 tours a day

Morning Tour 8:30 am – 12 am / Afternoon Tour 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm

All tours are guided by a experienced local guide

Max number of 6 persons per tour (1 Electric Quad Bike per person)

Wear comfortable sport clothes and a (baseball) cap

Preferably bring a back pack with in it your camara, sun glasses and sun block

Signing a waiver is mandatory

Putting on a protective helm is mandatory

You must be 16+ years of age to drive an Electric Quad Bike. No drivers license needed

PRICE: $85,- per person including local tax, a bottle of water and a fruit bar. A tip for the tour guide is optional.
